Aircraft Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Coast
An aircraft hovering near a well-attended coastal coastline abruptly commenced twirling out of control, eventually dropping height and crashing into a line of palm trees as spectators observed.
Videos posted online show the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then descending near the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm groves and a set of stairs close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were taken to hospital involving two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Specifics on their injuries were not yet released.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.
