Assassin's Creed Reveals Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official release, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The adventure centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
